After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences, Donna lived in Orlando, Fla. where she worked as an MRI Technologist for Florida Hospital. During her employment with Florida Hospital, Donna gained experience in General Radiology, CT scanning, Mammography as well as MRI. She decided to continue her education, earning her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida.
Donna began her PA career with Georgia Lung Associates in Austell, Georgia. Her focus was Inpatient Internal Medicine with an emphasis on Pulmonology. After a move to Atlanta, Georgia, she joined North Chattahoochee Family Physicians as the practice’s first Physician Assistant provider. She worked along with 5 physicians providing care for adult, pediatric, women’s medicine and functional medicine patients. During her 13 years with the practice she also gained valuable experience as a clinical investigator for several phase 3 clinical pharmaceutical trials.
Donna is a member of AAPA and GAPA. She proudly supports Autism Speaks, the National MS society and the Alzheimer’s Association of Coastal Georgia. She lives in Savannah with her husband Jamie and her beloved orange tabby cat, Beamer. In her spare time she enjoys kayaking and spoiling her nephew, Dominic.
